Decorating Optional

One of our decorators will initiate a consultation to discuss your project and assess your needs for services. They will discuss your budget and confirm approximate costs for a decorating retainer. From there, they will schedule a decorating meeting.

Decorating Optional

During this meeting, the decorator will review your inspiration images, discuss your needs, and assess existing finishes or furniture to consider. This is how the decorator gathers all they need to know to create the vision for the project.

The next step is sample procurement. The decorator will gather optional finishes for all the requested selections – whether that be for one or two particular selections or for all the required selections for the project. This is where you sit back and relax while the decorator does it for you.

The decorator will present you with the proposed selections. The proposal can include finish samples, photos, presentation boards, drawings, or 3D renderings. Your decorator will review the options with you and guide you to finalize the selections for your project. If required, the decorator will make any changes and set up a follow up meeting if needed.

After the contract signing, your Project Manager will set up a job site walkthrough to go over all specialty items that are required for your particular job such as dust protection and furniture relocation. Also at this time the Project Manager will review the specs and address any concerns or requests you may have.

Your Project Manager will work with the Estimator and Designer to apply for all the appropriate permits and Ministry of Labour (MOL) safety requirements for your project.

After your selections are made from one of CHART's trusted suppliers, your Project Manager will order all the material needed as soon as possible to avoid delays due to lead times and deliveries.

Throughout the construction phase your Project Manager will be on site and in contact regularly, to ensure all items are being completed as per the outlined schedule. It is one of our fundamental objectives to complete your project on time and to the quality you expect from CHART.
